Warrior Healer builder

The heart & soul of AYA Educational Institute

A grounded space for people of Afrikan descent to confront oppression, heal from its wounds, and build stronger relationships, communities, and institutions.

Warrior-Healer-Builder is more than a concept.

It is a disciplined practice that supports transformation at every level of life.

It helps us recognize and interrupt the scripts of oppression that distort our stories, emotions, and behaviors both consciously and unconsciously.

Through this work, participants learn how to move with intention rather than reaction.

The WHB Model

Warrior Healer Builder

Warriors

We must become better warriors challenging the

People

Policies

Practices

that aggress upon our families, our people and our community. This training and support helps you find them , challenge and win against them.Remember, "fighting is winning, while ignoring or forgetting is surrender" . Choose your area. Unfortunately, we continue to be preyed upon in every conceivable area of life.

Healers

African people worldwide have been and continue to be wounded by white domination and other forms of oppression and injected oppression. Unfortunately, neither educational attainment, physical prowess, or political position is sufficient. We need safe spaces, healing relationships and customized tools to heal from the psychic wounds born of historic brutality, injected oppression and normalization of the oppressor's way.

Our healing reverberates backwards to our ancestors and forwards to future generations.

Builders

While we fight and heal, we are also obligated to build.

We must build:

Families

Organizations

Businesses

Institutions.

I know it's a tall order. I know it's not fair. Oppression is not fair. We often times think we can't do it.

Here's the good news.

We have in the past, and we can do it now. These workshops, presentations and consultations are designed to help us do just that - in small steps, in sure steps weaving trust out of conflict, confidence out of fear, Success out of the ashes.

Why this Work Matters?

Many of Us Are Living in Contested Spaces

We live and work in environments where the realities of racism and oppression are often denied, minimized, or misunderstood.

In these spaces, even honest reflection can feel dangerous.

Asking questions, expressing anger, or naming pain can be misinterpreted—or used against us.

Over time, this pressure shapes how we think, feel, and relate to one another.

Some of what we carry is visible.

Much of it is not.
