Warrior-Healer-Builder is a disciplined approach to healing, self-understanding, and collective transformation within Afrikan and Afrikan-Diasporan communities.
Our Story,
Warrior-Healer-Builder (WHB) is a research-informed and experience-tested model developed through decades of work in communication, history, psychology, and education.
For over 30 years, WHB has created racially and culturally grounded spaces where people of Afrikan descent can engage in honest exploration free from the pressure, surveillance, or judgment that often exists in contested environments.
These are spaces where truth can be spoken, felt, and worked through.
Join a welcoming community that inspires growth and shares your yoga journey.
Build lasting physical resilience and flexibility through sequences that respect your body’s unique needs.
Experience

WHB emphasizes practice over theory.
While many frameworks focus on what people should do, WHB focuses on how to do the work providing concrete tools that support real change in thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships.
Participants engage with tools such as:
Feelings as Messengers
The Flow of Recognition (River of Touches)
The 4-D Dynamics of Domination
Storytelling from the Inside-Out
These tools help interrupt internalized oppression, strengthen self-awareness, and guide aligned action.
Wekesa and Afiya Madzimoyo bring decades of experience facilitating personal and organizational transformation across diverse communities.
Their work integrates clinical insight, historical understanding, and lived experience to support individuals and groups in doing the deep, often difficult work required to heal and build.
They have guided thousands through this process, helping people strengthen their capacity to live and lead with clarity and intention.

We are committed to supporting the development of individuals and communities who can:
Challenge oppression without losing themselves
Heal without internalizing blame
Build relationships rooted in trust and accountability
Create environments that support collective well-being
WHB is not just something to learn.
It is something to practice and live by.
